Beriti • Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia | 12oz
This coffee comes from the washing-station at Beriti, which is in the kebele, or village, of Tore, in the woreda, or district, of Yirgacheffe, in the Yirgacheffe region. The altitude and microregion creates a more floral tone in these coffees, balanced by a creamy citrus. It’s composed of coffees from many farmers that are all being paid fairly for their product. We’re grateful for the work of these washing stations in countries that historically have not paid farmers fairly.
In the cup you can expect an overall sweet coffee with winey acidity and a heavy mouthfeel; lots of berry flavor with cocoa and cherry.
